Windows 7 'Feature' Causes FrameMaker Import to Fail

Full Description:
If a user can access both Flare and FrameMaker, but gets the following error when trying to import FrameMaker files:
"Filed to run command 'Add FrameMaker Import File …'"
Exception: Failed to update FrameMaker init file (C:\Program Files(x86)\Adobe FrameMaker 7.2\maker.ini)
The problem may be related to the way Windows 7 gives out permissions to users.
Solution:
You need to "assume ownership" in order to get the import to work correctly. Use the following steps to do this:
- Go to C:\Program Files(x86)\Adobe FrameMaker 7.2\
- Right click on the file "maker.ini"
- Select "Properties"
- Go to the "Security" tab
- Select "Advanced"
- Click "Edit"
- Select your Windows log-in username
- Click "Edit"
- Make sure that the "Full Control" box is ticked
- Click OK until you're out of the Properties dialog
- You should be able to import successfully now
