Apply a condition to the Content folder

Article #: GEN1017F  Product: Flare   Version: All

Summary:

This article describes a method to apply a condition to the content folder in Flare's GUI.

Full Description:

Currently, the only way to exclude all topics while still maintaining include/exclude control at a finer detail is to individually apply a condition tag to every topic. Using this method along with Flare's cascading usage of Condition Tags, you can only apply one tag and have it effect all topics.

Solution:

Please follow these steps to implement this solution:

  1. Create a new Condition Tag titled AllItems
  2. Apply the AllItems condition to the Resources folder
  3. Open the Resources folder in Windows Explorer - make sure you can see hidden files
  4. Move the .folder.props file from the Resources folder to the Content folder
  5. The Content folder should now be tagged with the AllItems condition
