Does MadCap Flare Run on Windows only?
Yes. Currently Flare will run on Windows based operating systems only. However, many users who are restricted to a certain operating system will run Flare using a Virtual Machine. Check out the "Can I Run MadCap Flare on a Mac? Oh, Yes!" post on the MadCap Blog.
Do I Need a 64-Bit Machine to Run Flare?
No. There is a 32-bit download available, please contact support to receive the 32-bit version.
