|
Article #:GEN1036F |
Product: Flare |
Version: ALL |
Summary:
When importing a review package into a Flare project, the error "The review package does not belong to this project" appears.
Full Description:
Review packages are meant to only be opened into the same Flare project from which it was created. Flare checks for the path of the original project to verify this. If the project was recently moved on the computer or moved to a new computer, then this error will appear when importing a review package that was created prior to the move.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, please move the project back to its original location/path to import the review package.
To determine the source path of the original project that sent out the package, do the following.
- Make a copy of the review package using Windows Explorer and the "copy" function.
- Rename the copy of the review package so that it has a .zip extension instead of a .fltrev extension
- Unzip the file with the .zip extension
- In the unzipped files, open the_Meta.xml file in a text editor such as Notepad
- The source of the original project will be listed under
Note: Retain the original review package file so that you can import it into your Flare project once it is moved to its original location/path
SourceProject="file:///<path to file>
Once the path is determined, move the Flare project so it has the same path it originally had allowing the review package to be imported.
